Few acts have pushed the boundaries of electronic music more than Squarepusher (aka Tom Jenkinson), one of the genre’s most distinctive creative forces for the past 20 years. A Warp Records stablemate of Aphex Twin, to whom he is often compared, he incorporates everything from breakbeat, jazz and drum’n’bass to experimental sounds from custom-made equipment into his music. The word ‘innovator’ is grossly overused, but this man is the real deal.
