About Stormzy
In a few short years, Stormzy has risen from being one of the most promising rappers on the UK scene, to being crowned the undisputed King of Grime, to becoming one of the leading artists of his generation. A true global cultural icon with a passionate and growing social conscience, the artist, publisher and philanthropist was the featured cover star of TIME Magazine’s ‘Next Generation leaders shaping the world today’ in October of this year, and is undoubtedly one of the most important – and exciting – artists of our age.

Having made his Hong Kong debut with an incredible performance in front of a rapturous audience at Clockenflap 2017, Stormzy returns to the city with his constantly evolving live show following his widely acclaimed headline set at Glastonbury this year and a succession of major awards. Hot on the heels of his eagerly awaited new album, ‘Heavy is the Head’, which is scheduled for release in mid-December, Stormzy’s Sónar Hong Kong show promises to be a unique opportunity to see a pioneering artist at the peak of his musical and cultural relevance.
