K-Melo is best known as the key figure behind the city’s infamous underground dance and hip-hop music event THEGETUP!, and is also one of the core members of JAZZY SPORT HK. With 18 years behind the wheels, K-Melo originates from the Hip-Hop/ Turntablist culture, but had since evolved to much diverse and sophisticated palette, often blending Deep House, Minimal Techno with Jazz, Soul, Afro and Disco grooves. Over the years he had also hosted/ lend support to a wide array of international artists, from Grammy Award nominated Hiatus Kaiyote (AUS), hip-hop super trio De La Soul (US), world renowned producers Mark-de Clive Lowe (UK), Eric Lau (UK) to DJs such as DJ Spinna (US); J.Rocc and DJ Shortkut (The Beat Junkies, US) amongst many others.
